Cane

In almost every Indian home, cane carries a quiet, familiar nostalgia.

We grew up seeing it in our grandparents' courtyards, on rural verandahs, and woven into the everyday rhythm of village life. For generations, it was chosen for one simple reason: it lasts.

Cane weathered monsoon humidity, survived decades of daily use, and only grew warmer in character with age.

Yet somewhere along the way, modern design forgot about cane. Mass-produced plastic and cheap synthetic furs took over our homes.

We built Kuching to bring it back where it belongs. We know it takes hundred of hours to turn raw, tough rattan into a refined architectural shape. But that's okay. As people say, "good things come to those who wait."

Cane carries a natural, earthy texture that synthetic pet beds can never replicate—one that mimics tree bark for your cat, while bringing a warm, grounded elegance into your space.

It’s durable enough to handle daily claws and zoomies, yet soft enough to shape into a sanctuary.

When you bring a Kuching piece into your home, you aren't just buying cat furniture. You’re preserving a piece of Indian heritage, honoring slow craftsmanship, and giving your cat a natural sanctuary built to outlast trends.

Crochet

Like a hand-knit sweater from your Dadi.

You probably remember winter afternoons with your Dadi or Nani sitting in the sun, ball of yarn in her lap, needles clacking softly. She wasn't just making a sweater, a muffler, or a cozy blanket for her grandchildren—she was weaving pure love, patience, and care into every single stitch.

That feeling of handmade warmth is something mass-produced factory cushions can never match.

When we designed the mats for Kuching furniture, we knew a standard foam pad wouldn't cut it.

Your cat spends most of their life sleeping, and they deserve that same level of tender, personal care.

So, we partnered with local women artisans to hand-crochet every single mat.

Each mat is thick, breathable, and completely washable. It is built for daily naps and kneading paws while holding its shape.
